Remanufactured vs New Compatible Toner Cartridges

Remanufactured toner cartridges involves taking a empty genuine empty cartridge (HP, Canon, etc…) and bringing it back to original working condition.  First each cartridge is inspected for any damage, whole cartridge is dismantle and taken apart, our expert technicians will check and replace any component(s) required, clean the cartridges inside & out, fill the cartridges with specify toner and amount for the model, reassemble the toner cartridge, print test if required, and finally label & package the cartridge for sale.

New compatibles on the other are clone or copied cartridges imported from China.  They are generally about 25% cheaper then remanufactured cartridges.  The print quality is very good despite the fact they are copies.  The major downside to compatibles are they cannot be reused.  Resellers and recyclers will not accept these because remanufacturers will not buy and use these, as components are slightly different.  At the end most will end up in our landfills.  Most retailers sell new compatibles because there are no labour cost involved from remanufactured cartridges.  Some even list products as remanufactured but really are selling new compatibles.    It basically comes down to profits, as most retailer does not know about the environmental impact from new compatibles.  But now you the consumer at least can make an inform choice.
