  1. Make sure that the machine is turned on.<\/li>\n
  2. Open the front cover.\n

  3. Press\u00a0Options<\/strong>\u00a0on the control panel.
    \nNOTE: The layout of a control panel differs depending on the model, but the\u00a0Options<\/strong>\u00a0button is located on the near side of the LCD screen as shown in illustration.<\/p>\n

  4. Do one of the following.\n
      \n
    1. If your Brother machine has a numeric keypad:\n

      Press\u00a01<\/strong>\u00a0to reset the drum counter.<\/li>\n

    2. If your Brother machine doesn’t have a numeric keypad:\n

      Press the\u00a0UP ARROW<\/strong>\u00a0key to reset the drum counter.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n

    3. When the LCD shows\u00a0Accepted<\/strong>, close the front cover.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
